📖 Installation Guide

First Time Installation:

  1. Download and install Battlefield 2 v1.5 (base game)
  2. Download BattleRacer Full Client =FL= Edition
  3. Extract the downloaded ZIP file
  4. Copy the battleracer2 folder to your /Battlefield 2/mods/ folder
  5. Launch "BattleRacer" using the Desktop shortcut
  6. Join a server and start racing!

Updating Existing Installation:

  1. Download the Latest Patch
  2. Extract and copy files to your existing BattleRacer folder
  3. Overwrite when prompted
  4. Launch the game and verify the version number

Custom Maps:

  1. Download the Custom Maps Pack
  2. Extract to BF2/mods/battleracer/levels/
  3. Maps will appear in the server browser
